Textiles embellish life. Dying, printing, weaving – these practices add vitality to the world around us…and it is this energy that I pursue.  Pierre-Auguste Renoir once said, “Why shouldn’t art be pretty, there are enough unpleasantries in the world!”  I, too, strive to bring fresh beauty to simple everyday objects as I explore color, texture, and design.  Inspired by nature, my textiles bring a joie de vivre as they celebrate life’s pleasures.
